The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Sunday, Apat Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his special Aunt’s Betty Stroh and Anne Clark, along with numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins Richard is survived by his two children, Robert Betson (Beverly), Robyn Larkin (Chris), Great Children Ashley, Jackie, Josh, Stephen and Cassie Step Grandchildren Adam, Nick and Nicole, Great Grandchildren Mason and Shane, along with some aunt, uncles and cousins. He had a strong faith in his Lord and was considered a compassionate, caring neighbor and friend. Following his service he went on to work in Real Estate opening up Century 21 Betson Agency and then an Insurance broker for Erie Insurance Co, later to become a Bail Bondsmen.
After graduating from High School at Frederick High, Richard served in the United States Navy, Bainbridge, MD. Betson, 75, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on Apat his home.īorn on July 9, 1942, he was the son of Elizabeth (Albaugh) and Ralph Betson.
